Saudi Arabia has joined hands with progress and are continuously moving forward in the right direction, all thanks to their Crown Prince, Mohammad bin Salman, who is ensuring that culture and style go in hand in hand. The country has seen a major expansion in terms of women’s right including significant decisions like allowing women to drive vehicles and to choose whether to cover their heads or not.
Reforms don’t take place overnight and take time to happen. Similarly, a black sports outfit called the sports abaya has been introduced in place of the original attire which was once a sign of cultural rebellion, but not anymore as Saudi Arabia have started to accept the changes.
Sports abayas are a brilliant idea, they promote mobility to women’s body while she practices for her sports activities. This latest vogue’s evolution over the years has also brought forward the new fabrics and patterns, which are now easily available and the demand for them is continuously multiplying. Adding, abayas are sometimes even worn in a Saudi Arabia with the baseball-styled caps overhead scarves, making the women look stylish, yet elegant at the same time.
Also, the world of fashion and women demanding such products lends a great momentum to the ongoing dynamics in the Kingdom. Moreover, the liberalization drive which will now historically allow women to drive come June and even let them enter the sports stadium for the first time, is a great example of Mohammad bin Salman’s vision.
Further, as stadiums open for women, they are also open to wear abayas of any color, this would not only look good, but would also make them show support for their respective side. Interestingly, with the laws becoming simpler, the bottom line to wear anything decent remains the central subject, which must be seriously followed. However, this gives women not only the choice, but also the voice to fight for her rights and feel free to express herself through her clothing.
